Hello, pepper. I was wondering if you are still experiencing great relief from your new medication(s)? I hope you are out enjoying the day! Do you have any side effects from the new medication(s)? I am still inspired to talk to my doctor (whenever she gets my Nerve Conduction Study results) about adequate pain relief. I will be sure to keep everyone updated because I plan on calling her office again tomorrow and see if they have the results, yet. Tomorrow will be two weeks, since I had the test.

Tami -

My meRAB have been a miracle. I can now do normal things in the house without alot of back pain; however, if I go out of the house to shop or walk my back and nerve pain kicks in full force. My pain is typically a 4/5 now instead of a 8/9 so overall I have nothing to complain about and am thanking the LORD for this reprieve.

I have a doctors appt again on Tuesday and I am a little nervous because he told me that he really does not like his patients on oxycontin and often switches them to methadone. I am scared that he might change me and what if it does not cover my pain as well??

Thank you for asking and I pray that you get your results soon.

I am so glad to hear from you, pepper. I pray that your doctor will continue to control your pain well. I have heard good things about methadone. In fact, my MIL's best friend has just recently been prescribed methadone for minor back pain, due to her problematic feet. It really helps control her pain levels. I will be sure to post as soon as I find out my results...Thanks, again!
