.. really get my goat :D

Take for example this review of the DVD called "undiscovered"

Now how can you take a review like this seriously ?.

By their own admission, they turned the film off after 15 minutes so how can they comment on the WHOLE film and tell people to avoid it when they haven't actually seen the WHOLE film ?

I fully accept that everyone is entitled to an opinion and everyone's opinion is different (in case i get the forum police after me :))

why can't you put something like ..

for the record, i watched "undiscovered" - all the way through - and thought it was great.

rant over ..

I did it for the first time in my life the other week. I ALWAYS watch films through to the end, but when we watched Day Watch...

Sheesh...

I loved the first one, Night Watch, and was really looking forward to the sequel, but it absolutely amazed me what an utter mess it was. There's a story, but sadly the director decided it best not to share it with the viewer at all. We watched most of it too - about an hour and 45, before we just couldn't take any more.

I'm going to give it another go at some point in the future. I'll watch them back to back to see if that improves things. I don't think the fact that the Day Watch DVD was a bit poor helped very much (recycled menus from the first DVD, no special subtitles etc). But I will give it another shot.

That's the first time I've ever stopped a film part way through though.

i'm 38 and i'll always watch something through to the end if i can.

i've walked out of a few films before, but it's few and far between. I wouldn't offer an opinion on either of them because of that though.

you cant take a review like that seriously...it just becomes void.

its like me reviewing a film on its trailers, it has zero credibility and its really lazy.
