People who voted Yes on prop-8: what did you accomplish? ?

You got some words added to the constitution preventing same-sex couples from getting married. You failed, however, to accomplish the following:

*stopping gay people from going to church, and being blessed under God.
*stopping gay people from living together.
*stopping domestic partnership.

And despite what the Bible wants, same-sex couples are still alive:

And if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. - Lev 20:13

So what did you really accomplish?

Gay people are alive and thriving, they can go to church and worship your God (who apparently doesn't like them that much), and gay people can still live together, and do whatever they want to - except get married.

And what about gay marriage being taught in schools? Well first of all, it most likely wouldn't be in California, according to a study done by KCRA-TV (you might be able to find it on their website: http:www.kcra.com). Would it be so bad to introduce them to an alternative style of living?

So let's hear it - why will you sleep better at night, knowing that now thousands of same-sex couples can no longer get married? I want to know.
