im writing a book and i am adding names of Business that are out there, like Target, McDonald's, etc. Also at one point i referenced Who wants to be a millionaire. I was wondering that if i will have to get permission from the people who own the rights to those Business in order to put them in my novel. And if i do, do i have to ask before i send it to a publishing company or do they do it for you?
