People who have been a judge in a mock trial, I need your help...?

So. This is my first time in doing a mock trial and my teacher picked me to be a judge. I need advice on how to be a good judge (like what I'm supposed to say, how I'm supposed to act, etc) and how to write a good verdict. Oh and in case we don't finish it in just one period and we do it in another period, what will I say in the continuation period?

I really need your help....
