Ok I'm not trolling, I swear. Everything I'm about to say is for real and I just want to know what u guys think of my predicament. My birthday's coming up soon, and my aunt has a surprise planned for me.
So apparently, my big birthday surprise is a person. I still haven't gotten it out of her yet. All she said was me, her, and my grandma are going to Chicago and going to the Sears Tower, and there's going to be a BIG surprise for me there.
And as far as who the person is in question, she said I've mentioned wanting to meet this particular person like a thousand times, and it was something I said I wanted for my birthday. Well, I got to thinking the person could possibly be my dad I've never met (even though I didn't mention him all that much). I asked her and she said no, it wasn't him. I didn't believe her, and she said she would tell me if it was, and it's not. Then I asked her if it was anyone in the family. Again, she said no. So I'm thinking, "Ok, WTF??"
THEN I got to thinking that I didn't remember wanting to meet anyone for my birthday, but I did remember talking about one person. I talked about him quite a bit too lol (ok, he's my favorite actor, that doesn't make me a creepy fangirl! shut up
). I told my aunt a couple months ago that it would be my one and only birthday wish to meet this person, and he's known as the Gube (LOL he's more formerly known as Matthew Gray Gubler from Criminal Minds). Since my aunt has a few connections, that's why I mentioned it. I was just saying it to be saying it. I was kinda joking, like "Hey, that's what you could get me for my birthday: Matthew!" And we just laughed. Well, now, all the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fit together. I'm actually wanting to think that it might be him, but now I'm
trying to stop thinking so, because it would just be way too good to be true. I'm just not the kind of person that lucks out like that. Not only is the very idea completely and utterly unrealistic, it's also, just, impossible lol. Unless the cast of Criminal Minds is doing some kind of fan meet-and-greet convention in a big ass office building/mall (whatever the heck the Sears Tower is!) why would MGG want to take time out of his busy life to hang out with me???? He probably gets requests like that all the time, with people wanting to meet him. idk, unless he's a VERY generous person lol (which I've heard he is, but no one's THAT generous!).
It's probably not him. I probably mentioned somebody else like once, wasn't really serious about wanting to meet them, and I just don't remember it. I just wish I had an idea who!
So what do you guys think of this mess? Lol and btw, my aunt's "connection' is that she's friends with a guy that was in the "Elephant's Memory" episode of CM. I believe he played the school principal, and he was in a couple scenes with Reid and Hotch. I know that doesn't mean anything lol. But seriously, am I overthinking this???? Is matthew the kind of person that would do something like that for a fan? And seriously, all the phone calls that would've had to be made to get to matthew, it just seems all the more unrealistic. But I guess, anything's possible, right?
