I currently have a Pentax K-x, but I'm not sure if I should trade it for a Sony Alpha NEX-5.
My problem is that I do modeling, and my photos are almost always grainy and it's very difficult to edit them because of this, and the quality of the image is drastically low because of the graininess. I've read a review that says the Pentax has better image quality than the Sony, but the Sony has higher resolution. I just don't know. I need a second opinion on this before I go throwing away my camera for a new one.
For cropping and editing photos, which do you think is better? Higher image quality or higher resolution?
