An accelerometer (a device used to measure acceleration) can be as simple as a small pendulum. Suppose u are flying a small plane in a straight horizontal line & your accelerometer hangs 12.0 degrees behind the vertical, opposite the direction of motion. What is your acceleration?
_____________m/s^2

thanks
(the answer is 2.08, help me get there.)
i know this is difficult to understand b's the question has a picture which am not able to put here. There is just a board (airplane), a vertical line hanging down from it, and sort of a string or stick with a round ball at the end of it. The stick is 12.0 degrees from the vertical line.
am wondering where they got the answer from
