pendrive compatible with car stereo?

I just bought a new pendrive but it wont work on my car stereo, i read the manual and it says that it should work with fat32 format so i tried that but it didn't work, i tried my old pendrive and it works just fine, i even tried using the same songs on both. i just cant find a reason why it wont work
