Is anyone else a fan of his work?
I really like the dark comedy and especially look forward to appearances by Chus Lampreave.
My favourite film by him is possibly All About My Mother but I love Women on the Verge and Volver too.
 
Law of Desire and Matador are favo(u)rites, but always a special place for "women on the verge" as it was my first Almodovar seen in the theater and my first introduction to his work. I love all his films.
 
Almodovar has made some truly great films and introduced us to some wonderful leading ladies along the way, Penelope Cruz, Carmen Maura and lest we forget the great Rossy de Palma.
 
Those are the only two films I've seen of his, we watched them in Spanish at School and they are both brilliant. We watched some of Hablo con Ella, but ran out of time before the christmas holidays to finish it and we never went back to it after christmas which was a shame. Really quite strange but interesting and funny films.
 
Another volver fan here, I thought it was great, good twist and Penelope Cruz was amazing in it.
I also particularly liked Talk to her.
 
I also look forward to appearances by Chus Lampreave and Rossy de Palma is brilliant! I was also delighted that Carmen Maura came back to work with him in Volver.

Anybody interested in his earlier work? Eg Pepi, Luci, Bom..., Laberinto de pasiones and Entre tinieblas?
 
Talk to Her/Hable con Ella should definitely be finished if you have the time. The conclusion is a crucial part to a lot of his films.
Yes Carmen Maura is another one I enjoy seeing, very glad she returned for Volver!
I'm yet to see Broken Embraces, must get the DVD when released.
