'Peculiar' is the title, will you c/c this poem?

First she'll catch yer eyes, then she'll win yer hearts.
She'll have you sayin' YOWEE like you're from Southern parts.
She'll tell you simple stories about frogs and skunks.
When she goes to the zoo, all the elephants raise trunks
to salute this child of nature, playful yet mature.
When your spirit ails, though it hurts her, she's the cure.
She will disturb you and unnerve you at times, it's true,
because Dallas sees the world from a peculiar view.

Blessings to all. this is the Dallas that I know sweet and kind, sometime a child but most of the time a women. Her sayings and writing is a great inspiration to me. She reminds me of the girl in my poem. The Far away girl. This verse is for you Dallas, i hope you read it.

The faraway girl blooms in the flowers,
Tucking the petals behind her ears,
H ow free and light with worries to bear,
The sun glistens and shines on her long red hair.

Nice poem LC.
