I'm doing an independent study in lost wax casting, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to form a bezel or other type of setting for a pearl. I was going to attach some thing pieces of wax in a claw type setting, but I'm not sure that a) it'll hold or b) i'll be able to pry it open once the silver cools so I can actually put the pearl inside. Can anyone give me some advice on the matter?
