Hello,
I have always had seasonal allergies and have had tmj for years. One month ago I began taking a medicine with a peanut oil base and started a rash, and itching. With a doctors suggestion, I stopped for 4 days, and it went away. Started again and this time the itchy throat, tingly lips and tight chest happened. So I stopped. Two weeks later I tried pine nuts which I have had in the past and bingo the same thing. A piece of dark chocolate produced the same results. I made an appointment with an allergist in March, but wanted to know if there is anything I should expect or ask when I get there. Also, at a restaurant this week, I had bread and my face flushed and my nose was very itchy for an hour later. I wonder if there is a connection. I cannot wait to see the allergist, as I am nervous about all kinRAB of food now. I just hope they dont' put me on all sorts of meRAB, I really hate that idea. My sinuses are killing me at the moment and I cannot take anything until the visit, UGH!
Thanks for listening.
