ok....im gonna explain this the best that i can - i have the samsung omnia i910 - i do have the data plan for $30 on my phone so i have unlimited usage when i am on the intenet ON my phone - when i use my phone as a modem i have a 5 gig monthly limit.
with that said - i have downloaded pdanet on the advice of a few friends - it works great and when im connected it says that im connected through active sync.....therefore i am not 100% sure if this program eats away at my 5 gig VERIZON threshold or if its running just like being on my internet on my actual phone without tethering where it has no threshold?
theres a lot of confusing info out there and there is really not definitive answers to be found....anyone have a correct answer?
