PDA on GoPhone account

Right now, I carry a Palm PDA and a Nokia with a GoPhone plan, and I want to carry just one device. If I buy a Centro or one of the Win Mobile phones at full price from AT@T can I just put my GoPhone sim in it? I don't need a data plan of any kind, just a cell with basic service and a PDA.

I want to make sure this will work before I spend the money on a new phone.

No data plan is required for a GoPhone. All subscribers are on data pay per use so you have to be careful about any automatic Internet connections on a PDA. You could probably find a PDA for a lower price from a source other than AT&T.
