My wife and I have a complicated case. We are both married and we are both officers in the Army. She is a Military Police Officer and I am an Infantry Officer. I have PCS orders down to Ft. Benning in November and then another PCS order for Ft. Bragg next July after Ranger school. My Wife has TDY orders to Ft.Leonard Wood (Snowbirding), TDY to Ft. Benning (BOLC II), TDY to Ft. Leonard Wood (BOLC III) and then PCS to Ft. Bragg in March. (She probably will have a TDY to Ft. Benning for Airborne school as well) I am prior service and been trying all my leads to get an answer on how we should go about storing our stuff, if we can store it under government expense, and how to best utilize all the PCS moves to transport our stuff. We want to do DITY moves as well. Most of the transportation people just kind of look at us like we are crazy. I don't want to waste a PCS move if the Army is going to pay me to do it. (rather have that big bed instead of that twin size bed). Anyone have any prior experience or can possibly tell me someone who may know the answer? Thanks for your help.
