I just bought a brand new 50 inch Plasma 1080P HDTV and I connected it to my Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop and the tv won't display audio or video from the pc. I'm using component to vga cables.
I used the F8 function and when i select it to display on the tv it doesn't do anything. The tv just says "no signal."
What am I doing wrong or what am I not doing right?
Also, incase you may think it's because the dell is an older pc, that's not it, because I also tried my new acer pc.
So if this vga to component won't work, what will. I only have ports on my tv for hdmi and component.
