PC Suite functionality change???

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this - Since I've upgraded to the 6.8 version of Nokia PC Suite, text messages sent via the PC Suite's Text Messenger (via bluetooth) is now placed in the outbox as "waiting" - It used to send right out of the phone as soon as I hit the 'send' button on my PC.

For me, the whole purpose of using the text messenger is so that I don't have to touch my phone to send a txt message from my phone, so this totally defeats the purpose of using it.

Can anyone else confirm this, or am I just completely out of my mind?

I'm using the Nokia N80.

Not just you. It does the same thing on my 6682.

Actually, I've checked on my N70 and it does the same too - Is there any way to fix it???

There was an update to pc suite, from 6.8 to 6.8.2. Did you do that update, too? I've not tested the text message feature, but I wonder if on that newer update they fixed that issue...

Do you guys think it's the PC Suite part, or that SMSync thing it installs on the phone?

i have reverted back to 6.7... that 6.8 doesnt have that wallpaper maker anymore and it screws up my music DL

Any update to this? I am using PC Suite and all of my bluetooth texts still end up in the Outbox as "Waiting". I'd love to have these just send without prompting.

the problem with my pc suite is that it crashes while converting my files into eaac+.

i have no problems with the text messenger though.
