A while back i reinstalled windows, and downloaded the nvidia update, it worked but had to reinstall windows again. Well this time my PC seems ok, but i tried installing the latest nvidia video card driver and it totally messes up my screen, making it all large and oddly colored. I have done what some suggest, lowering the color quality and screen resolution does nothing with that installed. So I uninstalled the program, I checked my card by Start button, Run, type DxDiag, click OK and a DirectX tool should appear. It says "The Chip Type field should list the specific card you have installed, and the current driver version and date should be listed to the right."
I did so, and this is what's listed:
device manufacturer N/A
chip type N/A
DAC type N/A
so, i figure if i go to the nvidia website to install the driver, it'll work? I also read there is a Intel Video Drivers, so, which do I choose?
