PC cillin for wireless palm

Hey,
I've just came across pc cillin for wireless palm at trend micro and I thought of trying it out. But I got the fatal error screen everytime I click on scan. Has anybody had any experience with this? I'd really love to equip my palm with an anti virus because I always surf online using it. Would appreciate any suggestions. :)
 
There are no Palm viruses in the wild. No Windows virus will work on a Palm and the probability of picking up a virus file and syncing it to your comoputer in such awy that it could damage anything is extremely remote. This is an excellent case of antivirus companies trying to make money off a problem that doesn't exist. Take it back and a get a refund and don't worry about viruses on your Palm.
 
T3gunner, Jim is correct. There are no viruses for Palm. I went to TrendMicro's web site to see what they were trying to promote. ... I suspect the reason you're getting fatal errors is because you're running a T3 with OS 5. PC-cillin For Wireless is only for Palm OS 3.1 and 4.x, according to their system requirements page. ... Also, if you call up the Users Manual, you'll find that it has not been updated since 2001. ... That the product has not been updated for 3-4 years, does not support Palm OS 5, and is being offered for free would suggest that Trend Micro is not fully behind the product.

Yeah.Thanks alot for checking that out. It does explain alot. My main concern wasn't about transferring viruses from my computer to palm but just from the net to my palm. But i guess it pretty difficult to find a virus written for palm and actually downloading it. Thanks anyways guys.
