So I made a proposition with my mom that if and when i get a job I wanted to get a smart phone or blackberry (blackberry most preferably) off like craigslist or ebay or something and pay her the $30 a month for the internet fee. She then replied with no when I told her if I couldnt cough up the $30 she could deactivate the phone until I actually paid her. According to her, no matter if the phone is deactivated or not you still have to pay the internet fee even if the phone isnt being used. Is this true. I was under the impression that you just had to pay the fee for the phone being on the plan? So to put the question simply.. do you have to pay the internet fee when the phone is deactivated or no?
