Paying For PPV

My apologies if this has been answered before. I did a search and ended up with 200 results. To be honest I'm too lazy to search through them all.

I rarely connect my 5900 to a phone line and have ordered a few ppv's within the last few months (by connecting it to the phone line). If I recall correctly, I must connect my receiver to a phone line again so it can dial in to BEV to bill me for them.

My question is....when would be the best time to connect my receiver to the phone line? Does it dial out on a specific day of the month or several times per day, etc? It's kind of a hassle for me to run the line to the receiver so I'd like to minimize the length of time I'd need to do this.

It will prompt you to connect to a phone line and if not you should connect every 2 months, and go to the menu and click dial out under phone dianostics.
 
I ordered the ppv's back in August and as of yet my receiver has never told me to connect the phone line for any reason.
 
^^^^have you ordered more PPVs since August though?????? because when you try to order it shouldn't let you until you hook up your phone line

I remember 3 years ago you could FILL UP THE ENTIRE 9 PPV SLOTS and you didn't have to dail your IRD in....the good old days...i remember buying a PPV in 2003 and i didn't have to dail it in for over a year
 
Haven't ordered anything since August. Only ordered 2 ppv movies during the month.
