Is there such a thing?

I had a user going away for a couple of days, and wanted to stay connected with his emails. Didnt want a 2-3 year contract from Rogers. We have spare devices that we can lend him, but no floating sim card with service
 
Some of our members have a pay as you go arrangement with BOOST. If you do a search on that, It should pull up some information for you. If you have trouble finding it, just let me know and I will try and find it for you.

To work on boost just voice service and sms mms, so if you
Are going to use an iden handset
Your best bet is not a bb but a regular phone that has a browser so you can log on and check mail manualy .beacuse
Boost does support data at the
Rate of twenty cents american
Per day but they charge that
If you use or not so I recomend
A gsm hand set if you need the
Push service as ther are many
Companys that do a prepaid type
Of service all over the world
O2 has a website that offers
Prepaid sims that don't expire
And some places have free incoming minutes with them
Or there is allways a rental
Phone if its a short term or one

No none of this is available via Rogers. I'd offer to rent out my 7100r and my sim if it wasn't for the distance between where I am and there in Toronto. I think that is where you are.
 
Pay as you go is normally exspensive in comparison to a data plan. In Australia you pay per kb (as much as $5.12 to a minimum of 25 cents) or per 5 minutes (80 cents per 5 minutes). What are the charges in the US, UK etc?
