Are you sure the radio doesn't have it on already? It's kind of hard to explain, but it's a metal cage that the radio slides into. It locks in on the the left and right side with metal tabs. Either way, you will need it for the installation. It's essential for securing the radio into the mounting kit. Worst case scenario you can search on eBay for it.
