Had a cranial infection at the base of my brain. Actinomycosis, TB-related pseudotumor. Great treatment @ Johns Hopkins! The disease or surgeon scarred my e-tube on the outside leaving it wide open. Semi-well now but I have serious autophony. Hopkins ENTs say slim hope for correction.
My e-tube seems to close when I lie on right side, so there's still some sticky stuff there. Also some hope. Can't live lying down!
Considering permanent deafness in the affected ear (radical), or custom ear plugs to block external sound (less radical). Have tried PatulEND. Rate it & Dr B as a waste of time. Got same results from the Chinese tea.
Nearing road's end. Hopeful to hear from anyone who has something thoughtful to say. Life could be a lot better.
