pasting html code into site or blog?

in various site, i saw html code which is told to paste into site or blog. but i dont know, in my blog where to paste that html code. can anybody help me please ?
it's a hi5 account. swagata01.hi5.com how to copy html code there ?
 
It would be helpful if you noted what blogging platform you are using.

Assuming it is blogger.com, you need to edit your template, and post the code into that.
