For uni I am making a connection of multiple computers through a DMZ with the chellenge being allowing external users to access a website and internal users to access an intranet.
I was wondering...since none of the files are Actually being uploaded to a server can I still use htaccess to pasword protect the index.html file of the intranet? I've tried it on my laptop and it won't prompt me for a username and password.
Really stuck!
Help!? Please?
