Okay So about 10 months ago my "friend" who was 17 at the time, he is now 18. asked me if I could do him a favor and give him a ride to get his xbox fixed so i did. on the way back my brakes locked up on me and i ended up rear ending the car in front of me. my car got totaled but nothing happened the car in front. so nothing happened to us. we got out fine and all i had was some bruises from the air bag. the paramedics checked him and he said was fine and he walked away fine. So i hadn't heard of him sueing me until yesterday when i got a letter from my insurance.( who only covered me and not passengers). so i asked why he was suing me after he said he was fine. He responded with "what are you talking about, im not suing you". the next day i see him and he said he asked his mom and she told him. im not suing him, im suing his insurance company which is me right because he's not covered? right? he said that they have to pay on therapy for his knee which was all ready injured before the accident and he had 2 surgeries in the previous 2 years and needed another 1 before the accident. he is now 18 and says he doesn't want to sue me. can he drop the charges if he calls. also in the letter the claimant is him. he all ready told me that his mom was doing for the free money and therapy. what can i do and what are my parents looking at paying?? i had just turned 18 3 months prior the accident. i am 19 now. thank you guys for taking the time to read this
also he doesnt have any insurance at all.
I don't have a job or any money. and i was put as a driver in my insurance. so will they make me pay him if i have no money. he said all the therapy was was massages and him walking a treadmill.
