Firstly, to get this out of the way:
Yes, I know this is an old handset, but I'm just crazy about it.
The issue:
The keays 3, 6, 9, # (the rightmost column) died all of a sudden - no dropping on the floor, no hitting any walls, no getting wet... Just took it out of the pocket, tried to unlock the keyboard and noticed the # key is dead. I powered it off and back on and noticed these 4 keys do not respond anymore. I reflashed it, hoping it would somehow solve the issue (I thought that maybe the firmware got corrupted somehow), but it didn't.
I searched the forum, found some references to the test point causing this when it's cut too deep, but this one doesn't have the cut.
Does anyone have any suggestions? (I'd scrap it and buy another one but they're getting harder and harder to come by where I'm from, despite their very low price).
