Ok. I was at my high school in CA. I was backing out during lunch. The lane is a one way lane, and my car was covering almost 1/2 of the lane. I drive a 2010 camry so my car is kind of long. I stopped to look at the car to see if he stopped. He seemed to yield so i kept backing out. A second later, i hear the sound of a collision. The driver seemed to try to go around me. So then we went to park and exchange info. My question is, who is at fault? I was clearly in the lane, and he tried to go around my car. My car has no damage, and he has a slight dent near his headlight mirror. Since my parking spot is slanted, it is impossible for me to hit his car straight on, without him turning his car to get hit in thatt spot. That obvoiusly shows he was trying to get around me. Is it his fault? or is it mine?
