Paresthesia majorly...burning pain everywhere. help? Possible Effexor withdrawal?

I was wondering if anyone with experience with Effexor XR had trouble with this pain? I've had it intermittenly and mildly before, but I'm trying to ween off and start Lexapro and all of a sudden ive had it REALLY bad, and its burning everywhere =/ It's really starting to freak me out, like as if i had high blood sugar, cancer...(hypochondriac). so i'm wondering if anyone can settle my mind on this symptom? The doctor thought it was just anxiety, though it wasnt as bad when i went to him last, it has escalated far worse since then. Even Ativan wont help =/
