I want to go to this summer camp. It's called cancer camp, basically a camp for kids and teens who have been personally affected by cancer. Whether it's a loved one or themself. I'm 17 and I've been in remission for 10 years now. I don't have friends, I feel like no one relates to me. I have social anxiety, probably from being in the hospital for 2 years. My mom doesn't know this, so I'm afraid to ask. I'm also dealing with anorexia. I'm not sure if she'll allow me to go. I just think it would be a good opportunity for me to meet new people and overcome some fears. How should I ask?
