How can they? Hope this comes to nothing.
parents of a murdered teenager who feared an arranged marriage are seeking a judicial review to overturn a coroner's verdict that she was unlawfully killed.

An inquest into the death of Shafilea Ahmed heard she suffered a "vile murder" after her body was found on a river bank five months after she disappeared from her Cheshire home.

Her parents, Iftikhar and Farzana Ahmed, were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping their 17-year-old daughter but were released without charge.

Ian Smith, coroner for East and South Cumbria, recorded a verdict of unlawful killing following an inquest held in Kendal in January.

Hi Stormy

Isn't it just frightening how some cultures value their families reputation above the life of their own children?

There's no place in a civilised country for these people

Lady sugar...you have said it all and its all right. I get truly sick of these people who want bringing into the 21st century, but no they act as though they do not live on this Planet. Their rituals do not fit into our culture nor do we want to accept it either. If they desire to continue with these ancient and hideous legends which have no place in the modern world ....well by all means carry on but not in this Country. The next step is to get back from wen-st you came, and continue to live your idiotic lives.
