Parents Skins DOES NOT Promote Sex and Drugs?

I don't know how many are aware, but Skins is a remake of a British TV show of the same name. With all of the controversy surrounding the show, i decided to check it out. I watch the 1st episode of the MTV version, and then watched the British original. The British original was very much the same as the MTV show, except the acting, and casting was a lot better. Also, i noticed that the British show was a lot more risky than the American one. Now, i know a ton of parents are ready to shoot me down, but hear me out. While the show may contain more language, and sexual content (mostly sexual talk), most of the episodes don't have any sex in it, and the ones that do don't even show anything. Also, despite the ads, the show's focus isn't the sex. I think they just did that to bring viewers in. It's talked about on the show, but from the first season that I've seen most of the show is about a group of friends, and their problems, from anorexia, from a dorky kid awkward kid, who is just trying to figure out what he wants in life. His name is Sid, and he's actually the bed character, because he does so much for his friends, even though one of them in particular is a real douche and doesn't deserve kindness. There are a lot of themes in the show like that
