Also, older parents, do you find that it's true that life seems to begin again at 40?
You couldn't have convinced me of that within the last 2 years, in fact I thought my lifeblood was slowly draining away with all the bad cards that we seemed to have been dealt all within weeks of each other.
But it seems as if in the last few months, everything is coming back together, and I am way more comfortable about myself than I ever have been. I feel like I can relax, be me, and I don't really care what anyone thinks of me. And I am 40 . Any other parents experience this pleasant phenomenon?
