yeah...you read the title...video games. Im 17 turning on 18 and live in a good ethical muslim family, orthodox that is. I want to move out when Im 18 but unfortunately because it's orthodox i cant so moving out is not an answer to this. The problem is that of my mothers view on video games and technology as a whole. Im a smart student and top 10 percent of my class for two years and still she thinks that Im not good enough. I bring fours on the ap exam and still she's not satisfied (neither is DAD of course) none the less, if i play ONE SECOND of video games in front of any of the two, the give me a 1 hour lecture on how to stop wasting time and doing better in school. my GPA weighted is 4.8 %( what do you guys think i do to allow them to understand that Im doing great and that video games once in a while are not so bad.
By the way...this question seems as little...immature...but answer.. this is a serious situation....I love Call of Duty and Medieval II and RTS etc. etc. As i say "from the womb to the tomb...a gamer for life"
