Pantech Duo Problem!

I just Got this Refurbish Pantech duo phone from At&t!So as I was charging the phone(I left it charging for about 3-4 hours) then I go and check it I got an Charging error(it showed 40%). So this Morning I went to charge(had 50%)it again about an hour later it showed 40%. I mean how long dose it takes to get it to Fully Charged? Is the phone defective? If anybody has this phone LMK!
 
Sounds defective, you should never have to charge a phone more than 1-2 hours max, if you charge it all night every night its bad for the battery. You need to let the battery run all the way down before you charge it again. They have a 30 day return policy call them and tell them you got a defective phone.
 
Update: Well after all that the Phone didn't want to turn on.So I ended up going to an AT&T Store and exchanged it for a Pantech Matrix. I just Paid the difference. I like the Matrix better the Duo slider is weird(the Matrix Slide more Smoother).
 
my pantech duo fell really hard. it isnt coming on.. i bought it from a website therefore no warranty...
i saw the flexible flat cable stickin out.. is that the reason the phone isnt powering on?
