I just saw it this afternoon, and I thought it was great. By way of confirmation, as I was leaving, two white-haired elderly ladies were *raving* about it - "that's the best thing I've seen in years... really creepy.."
So there you go. It's popular among the unemployed and retired sector of the market.
(on a technical note, I'd have been *much* happier if they'd stuck with Darius Khondji for the whole flick... his darker-than-dark muted colours are *perfect* for this movie... it's pretty obvious which scenes were shot by Conrad hall... not to say that he's *bad*, far from it... but different, and not in keeping with the rest of the movie... if you hire the best, let them do their job, and don't bitch about how long it takes)
