panasonic viera cast no connection?

hi im trying to hook up my viera cast to the internet. i went in network settings and did a connection test with automatic settings and succeeded with #s. then i updated my software to 1.290 no problem. then did viera cast setting connection test and i get connection to server failed (006) i have nothing punched in the proxy settings. is the software corrupted or am i doing something wrong?

I just got VieraCast to work about 2 weeks ago following the instructions in the owner's manual. I was excited to hear Panasonic had added Netflix. I was successful a couple of times in getting to VieraCast and launching Netflix to watch movies. However, in the past week, I've experienced several "connection to server failed (006)" errors, mostly in the evenings. In researching this issue via Google, I see lots of people experiencing the same issue with VieraCast. Many have offered a variety of resons for this, and some complicated technical fixes -- some which seemed to have worked for a while, but eventually the "connection failure" error comes back. All this leads me to believe this is pretty clearly a broadband overload issue with the Panasonic servers that no technical adjustments to our TV's or Blu Ray players or network routers is going to solve!
