Alight i have this camera and i used it for animation but then i lost interest in animation and wanted to make film so then i started using the camera for film but then when i was finished a film i had no idea how to upload it on a MAC computer so i gave up on filming for a long time....until now so i just want to know what kind of cord i need to upload it on a computer.

so just tell me what i need for it to go into a movie program such as iMovie or final cut pro (the ones i will probably be using)

The Panasonic PV-GS85 is a miniDV tape based camcorder.

Connect a firewire cable (not USB) to the camcorder's firewire port (not USB) and the computer's firewire port (not USB). With the camcorder in Play mode, launch the video editor (iMovie or Final Cut) and import the video.

You did not tell us which Apple Macintosh. We don't know if it is a MacBook or MacBook Air with no firewire port (some MacBooks have a firewire port) and no way to add one - or if it is any other Mac made in the last 15+ years that has either a 6-pin firewire port or a newer one with a 9-pin firewire port. The consumer camcorder's DV port is always 4-pin.
