Panasonic NN-V653W Microwave Oven Fault?

Panasonic NN-V653W Microwave Oven: I replaced the door catch and after I plugged the microwave in and switched on the socket the turntable starts revolving and continues, also the cabinet light stays on. It was working perfectly OK before the door catch broke!

Please can anyone help?
