Panasonic Lumix G2: Do you have to use the touch screen to focus?

In all reviews I've seen for this camera, they all harp on about the touch screen focus, but neglect to mention whether the packed lens has a focus wheel on it.

So my question is: Is it possible to manually focus without using the touch screen, and just by twisting the wheel on the lens?

(Sorry if I've over complicated this question with incorrect terminology!)
