My girlfriend got a camera for Christmas (model in title), and after taking around 100-200 photo's when she plugs the camera in to the computer via usb, around 5-6 photos turn completely grey. On the camera before we connect it to the pc all the photos are working fine, but after it's been connected, both on the pc and camera the photos are grey.
We have no idea why it does this, opening with different programs doesn't fix it, each of the photos are still the original file size (around 4mb) and resolution. On some of the photos that don't work they have a bar at the top of the image where it had started to display the image, then the rest of it turns grey.
This happens every time she plugs her camera in.
Why does it do that?
And how can I/We fix it?
@Greywolf, I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm copying across the files from the camera into a folder, and waiting till they're done, even if i was trying to work on them while they were still on the camera, that's nothing to do with what my problem is.
@David, that sounds about right, but it's a Kingston SD card in there, not a random brand one, it could be faulty. To the file conflict, we're copying them, not transferring them, but like I said it's 'corrupting' the image on the camera too. We formatted the memory card when it first happened too, so I'll try to get her to get a new memory card :)
