Panasonic HMC40 for TV channels !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Hi,

I'm planning to buy Panasonic HMC40. My requirements includes:- Planning to make wildlife videos, realty shows, and other kind of documentories/short films and I have plans to sell these videos to TV channels... Kindly tell me whether TV channels will accept the videos shoot on HMC40...??...... and also suggest me hows the clarity of the video of HMC40 on a big screen?....

The Panasonic HMC40 employs the AVCHD codec which is MPEG-4 AVC/H.264. and which has been designed to be compatible with the Blu-ray Disc.

As long as your buyer accepts video shot in AVCHD that is a start. I added a chart so you can see the Export choices you can author after you edit. Also I added a link which shows AVCHD as a distribution format.

You should contact your local TV station and ask the engineers what formats they can accept and/or prefer.
