what does all the numbers etc mean from the beginning?.
1:2.8 - 5.2 4.5-108 ASPH.
someone told me it means this;
1:2.8-5.2 is the max aperture range. This means the aperture goes from f/2.8 on the wide angles to f/5.2 on the narrow focal lengths (i.e. "zoomed out" and "zoomed in".
The next set of numbers means that the lens is a 4.5mm-108mm lens.
As for ASPH, I can't be sure but I'm guessing it means Aspherical.

i mean if i needed a higher aperture, like f8/f22, would that cover it?, as it only goes up to 5.2 right?.
