A friend and I were playing 360 using the HD components plugged in the back (not HDMI) when my TV sort of flashed and immediately started to power down (blinking red light), and then eventually turned off (solid red light). I unplugged it for a while and then tried again and it was able to go to standby mode (blinking green light), however when it would normally start displaying a screen it instead started a weird vibrating noise coming from the back of it that would sort of come and go, no picture.
This leads me to believe that the power supply is not the issue since I can technically turn it on. The TV is not old I would say, (there are older TVs in the house that are LCD/work fine) but the TV is about 7-8 years old...which I would think isn't old enough to suddenly croak.
If anyone knows what the issue sounds like your input would be much appreciated.
