Pamphlet introductions?

Lady luck has not been a friend to me at all lately, in the work force. So, I've resorted to freelance landscaping. My plan is to meet and greet people and/or hand out pamphlets promoting myself. However, I'm stumped on how to word my introduction. I want to sound genuine. Meaning, not over professional and fake, or like a lazy bum. So, any helpful input will be appreciated.
