I took the above survey and found it to be quite interesting. It seems they are now reacting to the flack they got with the new T5. The survey appears to focus on what features are liked/disliked and why. There are some questions about sources used in getting technical support. When asked about what they could improve on, I told them they should read the forums to find out what customers want and need. I told them the design team should have listened to its customers when designing the T5. I suggested that they set up a forum at their web site or at least link to an existing forum which they can get information from. I also suggested giving us rom updates so we don't have to keep installing patches after doing a hard reset.

There are several questions which allow you to express your thoughts and opinions by answering freely without being constrained by multiple choice or true and false answers.

This time, PalmOne seems sincere to listen to its customers. You should do the survey if you are interested in keeping the Palm OS alive.

...and PalmOne, it's too late for me. My Dell X50 is on order, and then the T2 goes to the game room. I'm gone- permanently.

But thanks for posting it anyway, dwinget. Maybe now, they might ask those of us who had this one end early for our opinions next time. Either that, or just scratch dwinget off of the list for sharing it with us.

If you were a T3 owner.....I think the survey terminated as they already had enough responses from T3 owners. Cause as soon as I put that in...it kicked it off.

Went back and stated I was a Treo user and finished the rest of the survey.....seems biased to me.

Errr I don't see why it's biased.
That's how surveys are made.
They need X% of usersA, y% of usersB, etc.

They just reached the % of T3.
That's how statistics are taken. They have to base the results on everyone, not only the T3 owners.

Most surveys do the same with male/female and age.

Frankly, I don't think P1 gives a hoot about their customers... See my thread, "T3 Digitizer Problem & PalmOne Customer Service Horror Story!"

Dealing with P1 is like dealing with a never ending nightmare. I rather have a tooth root canal without Novocain than go through another customer service (HA!) experience with P1.

Except for one final salvo I fired at their corporate headquarters via snail-mail (voicing my utter dissatisfaction with their processes), I'm through with them.

I am a pre-pre dental student and I find that novacain thing offensive... If the tooth is really messed up the root has already died and is rotting in the tooth effectively killing the tooth. Thus it cannot give out pain signals!

I prefer the expression extraction without "relaxion"!

I've had 2 root canals. In the first the tooth was dead and it didn't hurt at all. In the second, I was in terrible lasting pain both before and after. So there.

Didn't we already have this discussion about your thread-jacking? Palm Blvd. needs an "Anything Chat" forum where people can kvetch about OT subjects.

They must be nearly saturated - I tried both the Treo 600 and the Tungsten T3 tabs and got the "Interview ended. Thank you for participating". Only the "Other" option left!
They have obviously got enough rants...........
And no talk of dentists please..... you have as much chance of finding a NHS dentist in the UK as of finding a T3 that does not have a digitaliser problem!
