Palm TX Versa mail sync with Outlook mail

Help. Am having a problem linking my versa mail with my Outlook mail data on my laptop. The TX goes on line and gets email no problem but the TX mail won't sync with the Outlook mail data on my laptop.
I spent over an hour on the phone with Palm support last night and explained to Palm support that both my Outlook data and Palm data are in a special directory(c:1000/outlook or palm) that are backed up every other day, not in the program default directory.
The TX works fine with the Palm desktop like I want for contacts, calender, memos etc and versa mail is configured correct looking at the right email account.

If you have already correctly set up VersaMail to retrieve your mail, then the problem could be with the configuration of your Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, which syncs VersaMail with Outlook. The article refers to Exchange ActiveSync on the Treo but applies to the TX as well. Be sure to review the section on setting up VersaMail to sync with Exchange ActiveSync. Hope that helps.
