Palm TX not connecting/hot-syncing to laptop

Hi all,

I just purchased a T/X and am having trouble syncing it to my laptop via bluetooth. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 6300.

I've gone through the bluetooth setup via the T/X instructions, setup a virtual COM port, etc, but I still can't connect/hotsync via BT.

I've noticed that when I try to connect or sync, the BT notification on my laptop will flash, indicating at least an attempt to connect, but the sync/connect will eventually fail.

Any thoughts on how I can correct this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
Interesting. I did a search on this issue and apparently, all of the related posts have no replies. Is this a feautre that people just don't use? The Dell forums have been very silent on BT syncing as well...
